Empowering Families to Read Together
PALS is a new program that helps parents read with their children at home. Instead of just giving out free books or sending kids to a tutor, we teach you how to make reading fun and easy!

What Makes PALS Different?
Many parents know reading is important, and many know where to find free books. But finding a book is only the first step. PALS shows you how to:
Make Reading a Habit: Spend a little time each day reading with your child.
Have Fun: Use games, crafts, and simple questions to keep your child interested.
Stay Encouraged: Connect with other parents and our staff so you never feel alone.

Pilot Program Goals
We’re starting with a small group of 15 families for 6 months. This helps us try out new ideas and improve the program as we go.
1 Book a Week: You’ll get one new book each week, with activities and questions to use at home.
Monthly Workshops: Meet in person to practice reading strategies, share progress, and get feedback.
Ongoing Support: We are aiming to build a community of reading families. If you have problems or need advice, we can help right away.
Your Feedback Matters: This is a pilot program, which means we’re testing what works best. Your ideas and experiences will help us make PALS even better for more families in the future.
